STRENGTHS:
Clear and a touch warm.
WEAKNESSES:
The only weakness is in my mounting. The 6.5 is very powerful and my door cards are vibrating. When I remount them in MDF and eliminate the extraneous vibration I'm sure they will even sound better..and at higher volumes.
REVIEW:
I have 2 sets of MM6501's in my 2003 Jetta wagon. They sound so clear. The mids and lower mids are strong and sweet and the highs are not harsh at all. I am very pleased.
I am so impressed I may be getting a MM840DVC to fit into a back panel.

STRENGTHS:
crisp, clear, don't need a lot of power to have a killer system
WEAKNESSES:
none
REVIEW:
have two sets of these in a tahoe.....very clean and crisp....I only have a alpine 75 x4 running them and they are still loud and clean
I've had a lot of systems in my day....nothing comes close to these mm6501's thanks for another great product!

STRENGTHS:
Warm and snuggly, clarity, play clear at extremely loud volumes and seemless transition between woofer and tweeter.
WEAKNESSES:
Only a very slight lack of sweetness in the upper mids. Probably due to being accustomed to the exteme intesity of the Momo's in that range. Other than that, INCREDIBLE.
REVIEW:
WOW. I replaced the Momo series speakers in my car with these due to the Momo's lack of warmth and harsh vocals in the tweeters. These are absolutely incredible. Lots of mid bass warmth and no more harsh tweeters. The transition between the woofer and tweeter are virtually seemless. Same great imaging and clarity as always with Polk. It took a couple of days to replace my subs with the MM series, so I can say that there is enough lows and mid bass to run these speakers without subs, if you so choose, with enough bump to feel without losing space to subs. If you have the Momo series and always felt that they were a little cold and harsh, I would strongly suggest replacing them with these. I think that you will be very satisfied.

STRENGTHS:
clear vocals, hard hitting mids
WEAKNESSES:
NONE!
REVIEW:
I have 2 sets of these installed in my 04 F-150 supercrew and they sound amazing! I'm powering them with an Alpine mrp-f550 (90W x 4 rms @ 4 ohm). These speakers do take time to break in however. For the first few days they aren't going to impress anyone but just give them time. The mid-bass hits hard and the vocals are very clear at high volumes. I would definitely recommend these! A+

REVIEW:
I have listened to Focal 165vr, and kfe165. Jl audio zr650 Alpine x-type 17pro, Diamond audio hex seriers and the Mb quart qsc's. At $300 stands the most impressive speaker that I have heard. They are amaizing in every aspect and are more impressive at lower volumes than the sr series. I finally made a decision and this is the first componets I have ever owned. They are beter sounding than 1000$ componets i have heard. Great speakers.
