STRENGTHS:
produces deep and clear bass
WEAKNESSES:
did not find any till now but concerned of "sub blowing" from many reviews i have read
REVIEW:
it is good on the whole but i dont find its frequency response curve anywhere

STRENGTHS:
a great, deep clean bass. one 12" sub and im shaking the neighbors walls.
WEAKNESSES:
ive purchased two of these, they keep blowing after a few months, my second one blew too :( may need to upgrade to the sr's
REVIEW:
the first subwoofer i ever installed im my car was a polk db12. they have the cleanest sound of any subwoofers i have ever heard. i will always purchase polk and no other!

perfectly designed for whatever music you like. very tight, clean, and accurate. best sound quality sub in this price range!

STRENGTHS:
hard deep bass everyone thinks in pushing 15s until i show em my set up.
WEAKNESSES:
the only weekness i have found is that they need some pretty deep boxes.
REVIEW:
I think these subs rock i have them in a 79 mustang with little to no trunk space at all and they just really pound.

Great speakers, i've had no problem with them and i've had them for awhile. Great sound rattles the whole inside of my explorer. It's time for some comp subs!

STRENGTHS:
very efficent, clean sound
WEAKNESSES:
voicecoils needs improvement, sloppy on very very low notes
REVIEW:
This is my second pair of 2124s. These subwoofers hit extremily hard and very efficent for about the first 6 months before the voicecoil tends to go. Polk replaced my 2124s with the new and improved dual voicecoils (2124DVCs) which are being pushed by the POLK MOMO C5001, but apoximately 5 months after receiving the 2124DVCs, the voicecoil just went out on one of my subs. Polk MOMO makes a really great products, but their subs need improvemnt. One thing about POLK MOMO that makes them different from all other companies is the fact that (THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS). When I had an issue with my products, Polk MOMO replaced them with no questions asked.

i dont have this polk momo but thinking about getting this one. i have the older one that handles 1000watts rms 500. i had problems with the older polk momo. so i am investing in this one to see how it works.

Weird voice coil rattle when played loudly
REVIEW:
These speakers are worth the money put into them. The 400 watt RMS is no lie. They will function very nicely at 400 watts without much adjustment. If you are looking for nice SQ and high SPL levels, these subs are your beasts. They will not let you down.

Yea, they hit hard, but only after about 6 months they blew. Before that, they used to sound AMAZING, even better than audiobahns.

the can hold up to a 1000 watts i have four 1000watt jl amps. and the work great they dont even destort
