STRENGTHS:
Incredible sound at a "discount".
WEAKNESSES:
None.
REVIEW:
They are too good. I actually had to do some major adjustments at the head unit just to hear my db690's in the back. I had to build my own brackets to mount the woofers in my door. I also had to modify my mirror covers to mount the tweeters.

STRENGTHS:
Midbass sounds great, and tweeters give you all the highs your ears can take. Well constructed, and solid.
WEAKNESSES:
The tweeters are a bit much right out of the box...but nothing I couldn't fix with the adjustment of my systems EQ. This was the ONLY reason I didn't rate thise 5-stars.
REVIEW:
I purchased a set of these to replace my Kicker 6.5" Components. I didn't expect these to sound as good as the Kicker's, but these blew me away! The sound is so smooth, and midbass and highs are great! Add a sub, even a small 8-inch sub, and you'll be wonderfully impressed (I currently have three 8-inch subs)! Great Product, and I'm considering buing another pair for the rear deck of my car.

REVIEW:
i just bought these speakers and installed them last night an man they sound greati also used the xtc baffles. i have a phoenix gold 4 ch amp runing the intereors. i have two kicker s12l7 run buy a phoenix gold 1200 watt amp and everything soumds great.

STRENGTHS:
Clean crisp imaging, and a wide soundstage, did I say clean.
WEAKNESSES:
Really none, I can't wait to amplify them and get more great POLK sound!!
REVIEW:
I have a 97' Trans Am and I placed these speakers in the stock locations (door), which is an incredible fit. I installed the woofers with dynamat all around and foam baffles from XTC. I ran new stinger 16 ga. wiring to bypass the stock amplifier as it is setup for dual voice coil 2 ohm woofers. This setup is powered from a dxz655mp head unit from Clarion, soon to be amplified.
After initial installation I was amazed at the fit of my tweeters in the stock location, they look awesome!!! If I had to use one word to explain the best part of the system it's clarity. The high end is perfect, but can be sharp until adjusted correctly. The woofers give out sufficient mid-bass response, and again are very clear. I have not had any rattles, squeaks or distortions, partially due to dynamat and baffles, but the aluminum basket and metallic cone certainly didn't hinder that. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchased and have now become a POLK man. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep spreading the word.

STRENGTHS:

the crossover point is a little too sharp for the highs

STRENGTHS:
The high's are awesome. Mid's are very consistant. Very loud with only 50 watts going to them.
WEAKNESSES:
I broke two screw heads off while installing into a predrilled hole, they broke pretty easily even before the screw was seated. I then put some soap on the others, worked great.
REVIEW:
I ordered a set of these for my boat not knowing they were marine certified, I read about it while they were on order. Even more of a bonus. They look great and sound great, I also have two pair of db650's so these match perfectly. This is a great set. I want some more.

i forgot to tell that there is also a momo 8 inch running in the back smooth and direct ! i want to replace the original speakers in the back door for a 13 cm mid speaker from polk also db series

STRENGTHS:
i like the mid sound but i had to ajust the high pass filter and now there running from 80 hz and the can keep up now perfectly .
WEAKNESSES:
the tweeter is perfect but a little to agressive for me (but maybe thats because there closer to my eare then the mid)
REVIEW:
i just installed momo 6750 db in my opel astra and the sound perfect there running on a dls amp (4x50 rms + 1 x 150 rms)
the amp is just perfect for the job

STRENGTHS:

Manual could offer more technical info. on balancing sound stage.
REVIEW:
Tested the DB6750's against several other component and coaxials and liked the smoothness of the Polks. Really beautiful clear highs and solid mids rounded out with a single Polk MM2084 Sub. I'm able to create whatever sound stage I desire with this combo and with 50W per channel and 200W to the Sub, it's enough to make your ears bleed long before you can achieve speaker distortion.

WEAKNESSES:
The woofers need help with my application. Maybe amps, baffles, etc.
REVIEW:
I just installed two sets of these in my 2002 Tahoe. I installed the woofers (with farbrication) in the OEM spaces in the doors, then installed the tweeters above all the door handles by the locks. My head unit is a Pioneer 22 RMS X 45 Peak. The tweeters are very crisp in the front and back seats. The midrange needs some help. I looked into baffles to help hone the sound. My factory sub may be the problem drowing out the mids. Overall, the speakers surpassed the OEM speakers and exceeded my expecations but I need to do some tweaking. I plan to add amps at a later time. This might help the complete sound.
