STRENGTHS:
Can handle quite a bit of power and are LOUD.
WEAKNESSES:
The cops will pull you over lol.
REVIEW:
These are exelent woofers. Ive had them for about 6 months now and had no problems. I hooked up a JL Audio 700 watt rms amp to these and they blew me away. Sadly im upgrading and selling them. Go to Northern MI craigs list to see my ad. and save some $.

STRENGTHS:
Hard Loud Bass, clean sound, extremely strong subwoofers. Excellent!
WEAKNESSES:
None really, they will just demolish your car if you aren't careful.
REVIEW:
These subs are amazing. I've had Kickers, I've had JL Audio, I've had Kenwood, but I've never had ANYTHING that hit as hard, and sounded as good as these. I would recommend them to anyone looking for earth rattling bass, and just good, loud, clean sound.

STRENGTHS:
For what they are worth, nothing on the market, in my personal oppinion, beats it! Think about it a pounding 2-12" polk for the price of a JL W6. And the W6 alone will not produce what the DB1222 will.
WEAKNESSES:
None that I can find. Execpt loosen all the bolts in a vehicle! Then again that is not a weakness but a matter of self-control! lol
REVIEW:
I have purchased 2 of these bad boys both connected to the Polk PA1200.1 amp. BTW this amplifier is amazing! It is actually strong enough to fry both DB1222's! This is really what we call BANG FOR THE BUCK! Not recommended for subsonic SPL level comp though. I found the voice coil heats up fast at levels of 60hz and under. Then again these are only the DB's if you want to go all the way then consider the SR's.

Love them, 1200W mono block fusion amp and it hits hard, makes the whole car rattle

they have a very low destortion/sound ratio
WEAKNESSES:
they cant take the 1400watts there rated for it makes me sad too cuz they soundgood for like a week till they BLOW
REVIEW:
these subs are a verry good sounding but they cant take the heat so there getting blown out of the kitchen

REVIEW:
these polk audio subwoofers are great nice hard base which means great for a back massage for the person in the back seat. I was pushing these subs with a 1000 watts db polk audio amp and also 1000 watts 4 channel for my mids great performance.

Goood subs.. havent had any trouble out of these beastfull subs. i have mine runnin on an Quantum Audio 1200@ 2ohms amplifier, and they deliver a monstrous punch.

santa claus couldnt deliver two sets! other than that NONE!
REVIEW:
best subs for the money! cant be beat!!!! i got these this beast hooked up with a kicker kx500.2 amp in a 98 explorer and its insane how hard they hit. im asked all the time about what kind of 15s im pushing. no no no polk db 12s. mite add another set this summer.

STRENGTHS:
They sound very nice and clear. Nice air ported box and cool protective casing for the subs.
WEAKNESSES:
So far I have had no problems with the performance of the subs.
REVIEW:
I got this package this summer and it is by far one of the best systems I ever heard. I got a kicker 300.1 monoblock amp hooked up in a 1994 ford aspire hatchback and it bangs so loud. I am about to purchase another pair and put all four in the hatchback.

STRENGTHS:
Incredible sound for the low price,looking good,perfect sealingbox..I listening much to hard rock and metal and they play very brutal when they should and.
WEAKNESSES:
Nothing that i can suggest.
REVIEW:
Installed these Polk DB woofers in my Volvo 940 stationwagon,I`ve had more expensive woofers from Rockford and Pioneer but i think these beats them all.I honest think this package from Polk is maybe the bass-package where you get most for the money today in the marked.I was looking on almost 10 different subwoofers and i`m very very satisfied.
Using a JBL mono ampflier with 700w.

WOW these things are amazing!!! I have a rockford fosgate T1500-1bd amp running these. my amp is putting out 1054 amps at the 2 ohms and wow these things hit hard. They are very clear and yet have good hard hit and rumbles where it should be. my new set up is the hardest hitting set up I have ever felt. I had to put weather stripping foam in between my liscens plate mounting bracket and the plate itself to stop the rattling. only thing to truly say is AMAZING!!!
