Room Environment Controls
Every room creates a unique acoustic environment. You can shape the environment to enhance your loudspeakers' performance. Or you can conveniently flop a couple of switches to tailor your LCi's performance to your room. The Tweeter Level Switch enables your to tailor the highs for your room acoustics, while the Wall Distance Switch flattens frequency response when installation requires you to locate the speaker near a corner or adjacent wall
*Audiophile Angst-the dictionary defines AA as a condition that propagates in the psyche of an audiophile's significant other and which is based on an irrational fear and loathing of one's room décor being thrown hopelessly out of proportion and balance as a result of adding audiophile equipment, most notably very large loudspeakers. The LCi Series has shown in clinical trials to completely eliminate AA, which was until recently reaching pandemic proportions.

Suitable For Damp Locations* LCi Series speakers are also suitable for areas such as bathrooms or under the ceiling of an enclosed porch. You can even use LCi Series in steam showers and saunas. Stainless steel hardware and powder coated aluminum grille will not rust. *LCi series are not suitable for exposed outdoor use. For such an application, use our Atrium® Series.
Paintable Grille allows you to make your speakers disappear completely (but you can leave them white too). You may even forget where they were installed.
Tweeter Level Switch doesn't just reduce the high frequencies like other inwalls, but notches out the frequency range from 3500Hz-6000Hz where room acoustics and some recordings can be harsh sounding. We leave intact the last octave over 10kHz where the nuance and emotion of the music and movies are conveyed.
Wall Distance Toggle Switch provides maximum placement flexibility without performance loss by tailoring the frequency response for an installation placement near a corner or adjacent wall. Like the tweeter switch it notches out the range from 80Hz-150Hz in the mid bass where adjacent wall or ceiling reflections can add "boominess" or exaggeration while leaving the deep bass we've worked so hard to deliver.
Installation Is Easy As 1-2-3 Cut one hole, feed the wires and simply drop the speaker in. Rotating Cams secure the speaker safely with no extra assembly or mess.
