How do the little plastic plugs come out of the binding posts so that i can use banana plugs?
Yes they do. Those little plastic plugs are there to satisfy European safety regulations. Turns
out that Euro AC plugs and sockets are the same size and spacing of dual binding posts and banana
plugs used in the US of A. It is a real bad idea to plug your speakers directly into an AC line.
IF YOU LIVE IN A COUNTRY WITH 220V AC, DO NOT REMOVE THE PLASTIC INSERTS!
THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR NORTH AMERICAN OWNERS ONLY!
For most of our models the plastic plug can be pried out with a sharp knife or tool. On some
models, such as the LSi Series, you must first remove the binding post nut. Fully unscrew the
binding post nut until it comes off. Use a small screwdriver, knife or nail file to pry out
the plastic insert. Screw the binding post nut back on the post. Do one terminal at a time
to avoid messing up the +/- color code.
