These are my front 3 main speakers in my HT room. I've had them a very long time. I think I am ready to upgrade there components, thing is, I have no idea what to do or how to do it. Maybe crossover tweaks, new drivers / tweeters. I don't know but I wouldn't mind doing something.
Any ideas, tips or suggestions?

Patrick listed some mods for these a while back and said they were a very good improvement...

Any idea where I could find that info?

Have you thought about trying some different speakers?

That would be me :) ,
The simplest and most effective route is replacing the capacitors on the RT55 and CS400 crossovers. Very simple to do with basic soldering skills.
Simply replace the Electrolytic capacitors with Polypropelene capacitors, equal values, however i recommend uping from the "stock" 50volt caps to 250 volt caps.
If space allows, replace midrange and woofer caps with Dayton or Claritycap. As for the tweeter circuit, it may have a film and electrolytic cap in parallel, combine both values and replace with a single, high quality film cap such as a Sonic Cap or Claritycap PX/SA.

^ Great input.
OP dont stress over spending alot of money on caps though, I tested Solen, Dayton, Claritycap. Between the 3 there was negligable differances on the RT55 and no discerable differance on the CS400.

So by doing this what exactly will it do, or change, with my speakers?
Increase transparency, coherency, dynamics, etc...

^ this. By replacing the electrolytic caps with Polypropelene caps you reduce the amount of signal loss across the electrical network, which in turn increases transparency, dynamics, coherency, etc...
