Has anyone ever listened to the Thiel CS 2.2's?
Thanks,

What did you think of their sound?

Sounded great, good balance at the crossover points, fairly large and involved sounstage and image. The highs remained detailed, but also smooth. That is hard to find in a metal dome. You usually end up sacrificing stage/image for detail, not true with this and other Thiel loudspeakers.
I'd love to have a pair myself.

Hey Big Dan....I have always been a big fan of Theil since like back in the 80's, one of the 1st speaker companys with the degree of tweeter offset, that became all the rage....but that tweeter/mid combo sounds very smooth....The imageing and clarity were awsome...definately a step forward for them. Everything Russman describes....actually the 2.4 is a dream speaker of mine.
I am reluctant to answer these kinds of threads though..hearing is very subjective. They are a very respected speaker in the snobby end of Audio....If you like em and you have the green......
