I was just looking at both of these and was just wondering everybodys thoughts. I have never listened to either one, but was just wondering how they compare to each other. I have heard a ton of rave stuff about the 15's, but I haven't really heard much about the RTi15's. They seem to be about the same price range on crutchfield, so I just was wondering how they compared to each other.

I have a fealing they 15's are going to be a lot better as far as music goes, and maybe the 150's better for theater(because of the 3 woofers), but I really have no idea.

Let me know what you think, especially if you have heard them.

thanks
Brad

Lsi 15's all the way

The three woofers in the 150's don't do all that much, I've heard them plenty. They're overpriced in my opinion. You'd be much better off buying the 70s and then using the $700 you save for a great sub. I wouldn't even hesitate. (that is 70's over 150's, not LSi's).

Brad-Tx, I purchased a pair of RTi70's over the RTi150's for two reasons. One, price was a factor and two, sound quality of the 70's was much better in my opinion. Take the extra money you save by purchasing the RTi70's and save for SVS Subwoofer which is what I am doing. Can't say much about the LSi's because I haven't heard them yet but unless your receiver will run a 4 ohm load, go with the RTi's. Someday I plan on going to the LSi's but for know you can't go wrong with the RTi's.

I concur that rti70 are better value. I listen to Rti150 & Rti70's and rti70 are much much better.
Go for rti70's & buy a better sub and you'll be very happy. I was also looking for Lsi15 but my receiver cannot handle the 4 ohm load so I better save it for the future.

My setup
Front- Rti 70's
Center - Csi40
Surround - Rt600i
Surround back - Fxi50
Receiver - Denon Avr-3803
Subwoofer - Sunfire True Subwoofer Signature
