everytime i screw the woofer into the box, the screw holes strip. so i am loosing air when the subs run and it sounds like whit. how can i avoid this?
Try installing threaded inserts that accept machine screws. Make sure that the edge of the opening for the woofer has enough surface area to accommodate them before installing them. The other option is to consider buying a enclosure made from 3/4" MDF and use a very coarse pitch "grabber screws".
Thanks,
Kim

WHAT ENCLOSERS DO YOU USE IF YOU WANT TO USE THE SCREWS THAT COME WITH THE WOOFER, THAT DONT MESS UP THE SCREW HOLES IN THE BOX?
Take a look at the enclosures from SubZone. Their website address is ( www.subzoneusa.com ). These are made out of 3/4" MDF. You can select from a single, dual, or a 3 woofer configuration. Pre drill the mounting holes with a 7/64 inch drill bit.
