Pirates in Hawaii

They've began filming of the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie here in Hawaii. Here's a few shots of the Black Pearl docked at Heeia Pier on Oahu's windward side. About 10 minutes from our house.

Considering how bad the third of those movies was, maybe they should have left the Pearl at the bottom of the ocean somewhere.

I have it on good authority that this episode of the movie will be called: "Pirates of the Carribean: Hellhounds of Hawaii".

The producers of the movie are working hard to get an "R" rating due to the extreme gaphic violence from these vicous beasts.

Secondly, that's not the Black Pearl. I dunno what it is but the Black Pearl's aft house did not look like that. That's a new ship.

And you can keep the fiberglass catamaran. The pirate ship has booty, buxom wenches, cannons and rum! Much more fun than a bunch of guys yelling at each other on a pair of fiberglas tubes!
