Polk Audio MOMO watch - is this even real???

Never heard of it before but i'm sure there's a lot of things i havent heard of lol so figured i'll ask (even thou i'm pretty sure i know what the answer is)

Polk Audio Momo watch - is it real?? Or just polk/momo cheap sticker inside cheap "made in china" watch???

I don't believe MOMO is a trademark. However PolkAudio is a registered trademark as it has a ® next to it. So i'm betting it isn't legal. Polk needs to get with ebay.

MOMO should be trademarked. They are a car accessory company that Polk co-branded their speakers with for the Polk/MOMO speaker line. I think they are best known for their rims and steering wheels.

Geez, by making an unauthorized watch, their getting on the bad side of two different companies. MOMO will probably be the first ones after people like that though, since accessories are their bread & butter.

Items that bear a company's official brand name or logo can be listed as long as the products were made or officially endorsed by that company.

Yet it's still up there.

Check the sellers history and look at the other watches. They're all the same. He just puts a 5 cent sticker on it. Price ranged were 99 cents to $1.04 for 3 other watches. I don't understand why people even do this. Are they hoping to find some sorry sucker. Must be as Laz says he bid on it and it's at 20 bucks currently. I got a nickel worth 2k. I'll sell it for 1k. Any offers? ;)

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum, but was also curious about the watch as I own another Momo wrist watch. Anyway, the guy's user ID says he's from Hong Kong, but his profile says he's from Malaysia - both locations are infamous for knockoff products as is most of Southeast Asia.

So I put a $5.00 bid on a watch and won at $2.25. The guy immediately posted another one and said it would take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. I'll let you know what it is like once I receive it.

Based on my internet searches on Momo watches I can say with almost 100% certainty that I bought a knockoff. We shall see

Okay, so in total, I spent about $15.00 on this piece o' junk to include shipping from Hong Kong.

Opinion: It is a very poor, not even quite a knockoff, piece of crap. The only two words on the entire watch are 'momo' on the face and 'stainless' on the metal band to which I suspect is not actually stainless steel, but rather aluminum.

I used to live in this part of the world and this is a very poor attempt to copy just about anything.

This is also the first watch I've seen that provides absolutely no information on the area that wrests on your wrist.

I bought this watch as a joke and I received a joke. The one upside, it did ship very fast.:rolleyes:
