Wow always knew how to do a thread link off of the index/ url, but not a post link. Until now I never noticed the "Logged" in the lower right hand corner.

OK, I remembered one place where there is url info for individual posts... in the search results if you choose the "resuts by post" option.

C'mon dt, where else is the info?

Ok, so copy the URL of the thread that the post is in, and do this:
Go to "IP:Logged" or edit, or anything which has the post's ID in it, and write this- http://.........newreply&threadid=10539#post99186 at the end.

Edited for a mistake

Copy URL
Find Post ID of post to refrence to
add: #postid######
and voila.

Example:

Nah, macros are mini "programs" you build in spreadsheets for handling repetitive actions. You link them to a "hot" key and then just Ctrl + letter your way to laziness.
