I recently purchased the Polk CS2 as my center speaker for a 5.1 surround setup, and it is so tall that it obstructs the bottom of my TV (SAMSUNG LN52A630).

I cannot mount the TV to the wall, so what i need to do is to raise the TV up. The ideal solution will be some kind of riser that i can fit the CS2 inside, and the TV on top of.

The CS2 speaker dimensions are: 7-3/4" H x 21-1/4" W x 11-1/8" D
The base of the TVs dimensions are: 24.4 W x 11.5 D
The TV weighs 69.4 pounds.

I know that a riser can be homemade, which i can't do myself but might be able to have someone do for me. I'd prefer not to rely on somebody else though, and so i was wondering if anybody has been able to find something either online or in-store that has worked for them?

I found one website offering a solution but it would cost over $100.

I believe to make it myself would cost about $30, so if i can find something already made for about $50 then it would be worth it.

I found this for $42 but don't really need the swivel function!

Please let me know your suggestions. There must be many CS2 owners out there who have had to do similar things!
Thanks in advance for the time and help.

Good luck as I am in the doghouse over something like this. Last year I had a new stand made to fit my system. Now I just bought a new system and am having to get a new stand made due to the fact that I bought a larger center. It never really ends.

Is there any way you can put a shelf above the tv and angle the cs2 down slightly? I ran into the same problem along with a ton of people when I had my cs2 so I just bought a new tv stand off of craigslist.

There's a window behind the TV so can't do a shelf or wall mount it either.
Simple riser is definately the way to go, and if i was just a bit more handy i would build it without a second thought. Sadly i'm not so i'd have to get someone else to build it for me, or try to find something pre-made that will work.
