SDA SRS Spikes recommendation

Greetings! I am looking for a recommendation for spikes for my SDA SRS (originals) to use on carpet. They are on the 2nd floor of the house, so the wood below the carpet is not a problem. Sorry for the 2nd posting, but I was not clear in my first one.

These are incredibly affordable, and I have not been able to find anything wrong with them. I've had them in use for quite some time on several sets of speakers. The studs are 1/4-20 tempered steel that you thread in with an Allen wrench and all other parts are machined brass plated gold or black.

They rate them as tested up to 170 lbs (with 4 in use) and SDA SRS's weigh I believe a few pounds more, but I can't imagine these are any softer than spikes that cost 3 or 4 times more. 8 of these are $36 USD delivered.
