OK....second time ........hope the thread remembers I'm logged in:mad:

Fairly new to the whole HT thing but i've been bit by the bug so i'm learning quickly.
Need some opinions and recommendations are welcome!!

Putting together a livingroom system and can't decided between the Energy CF-50's w/CC-10 or the Polk Rti A5's w/Csi A6?? The Energy's sounded great, crisp, clear, but seem to lack some mid-bass-(if I said the right, but you get the idea I hope). I can't find a place to hear the Rti's but the review seem to be great too, except on some other sites which seem to go toward other speakers. These two are right in my budget and i can soon get the surrounds to match and can my sonys.

My room is 20'w x 14'd, (13'ish feet couch to tv), and I will be using the system for HT, Music, and Xbox gaming (mostly Call of Duty which is like golf - addictive and frustrating).

I currently have.....
-Pioneer Elite VSX-32
-DSW PRO 600 sub (250w continous/ 500w peak)
-Samsung 58" Plasma (oh yeah ) - but could get biggger:)
-Samsung BluRay
-sony surrounds for now, but will get new ones and bookshelfs from series that i choose soon

....also might end up getting an amp in a yr or so once i can save back up, any suggestions?

Any advice or suggestions are welcome

If you really liked the Energy's something you may want to consider as well are the Energy RC-30's if you can find the matching center for a decent price.. Audioadvisor currently has them for $400 a pair. MSRP on these i think was 1200 for the pair

I listened to the 30's but liked the 50's more, they sounded fuller and I think they would fill my mid to large size room better, thanks though.

Appreciate the +1, but can you elaborate your reasoning.

Thanks guys
