If you guys want to taste some real Italian dried sausage then check out this website:

http://www.creminelli.com/

They been in business since the 1600's!!!

I've had so far these types of sausage:

Wild Boar - Really Great Flavor
Felino - A little Plain
Barolo - My GOD, This tastes AWESOME!, It has red wine in it!
Casalingo - This one reminded me of the homemade sausage my aunt makes in italy.
Tartufo - Great smell and Great flavor of black truffles.

I found a place near me that sells them, they are not cheap but they sure do taste amazing.

The "Piemonte Artisan Salami Mix" was the first one I tried. You can find it in their Shop Online section.

In my cart right now is the Barolo, the Tartufo & the Wild Boar. If I had to choose only 3 that I could eat it would be those. And in that order.

But if this is your first time trying their products I would buy the "Gourmet Artisan Salami Mix", it is on sale for $35. Then you can try each one that I mentioned above.

Thanks Sal,

I will be ordering soon.

On a side note, and a little derailing but I may go to Edison, New Jersey soon. I may end up being there for a month (work related), anything going on out there? Will be my first taste and experience of Jersey.

Looks different than the stuff our German culture makes locally...that stuff is great as well. I'd like to try the Italian stuff someday.

Halen,

Lots of really good indian resturants in Edison NJ. Do you like Indian Food?

Will you be working in Edison or NYC?

Edison is around 16 miles from my house, Make sure you bring your favorite CDs and/or SACDs so that you can bring em by and listen to my 1.2tl's

I'm careful bro. Everytime I see people they say I'm getting thinner and thinner. I don't really see it. My weight has been the same for the past six months. I've lost 135lbs so far. I've been starting to exercise as well.

The sausage is all gone and I can't wait for the new order to get here. That stuff was Da Bomb!!!

I'm a big fan of dry sausage, grew up with pops making his own, hanging it to dry. Washed it down with his own vino too that as a kid I would help make. Dry sausage is pretty easy to make. Quality ingredients is the key. Those pics look yummy but man, that guys expensive. That one with the borolo in it has me wanting to pull the trigger on it though. Thanks for the link Laz.

Sal,

I will be there for some SQl and Java relalted stuff, if I do end up going. I have always wanted to explore out in your direction. If I do not make it out there in February I will definately be out there in April. I will bring music for sure. It would be great to meet up.

That's Great!

I just received 8 more pieces and 12 pieces of fresh sausage. The fresh sausage is very good. Great flavors
