Hey, all.
My girlfriend just moved into a new apartment. She's got a TV, but no stereo or DVD. She's not really into stereos and speakers and all that, which is good cause I can't afford to put together a real system for her.
Anyway, I thought this would be a nice adition to her living room. It's a combination shelf stereo system and DVD player. I know she'd like it, the question is, is it any good? The specs look good for what it is. I haven't been able to listen to this thing, and I don't know about it's reliability, etc. I had some trouble with panasonic products in the past, but that was years ago.
Is this a reasonable buy? Will it crap out on her a year down the line? Is there a competing product I should look at?
Here's the link to the Crutchfield listing (http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-9Wpo9ZZfMu6/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=4&g=10120&I=133SCDP1&o=m&a=0&cc=01&avf=N)
Thanks.
