View Full Version : Electronic Protection hahaha
Here is my new protection system! Got a 2 year old & its time to keep him away from the gear. He likes to watch Bob the Builder & Barney DVDs & thinks he can use the system by himself. Looks like my system is in jail hahaha.http://www.ezconnection.org/Design/Assets/images/Home%20System/gated%20system.jpg

Good idea, but I think it's time to put your gear in a LOCKED room that only you have a key for. ;)

I think Trey's dad should've look into such a contraption; had he, we may still have a pair of healthy RT35i's and an M&K sub that needn't a visiting nurse. ;>}

I understand where you are coming from. I have a 2 yearold as well. He like the wiggles. I do not use my system in front of him and have a system upstairs for him.

You telling me a 2 yr old can't get through that fence? Electrified?
I can still remember my daughter at about 2 sticking a key in a headphone jack on my Heathkit AA-15. A "BrrrrrrraaaaaaP" came flying out of the mains like you would not believe. I don't know which of us it scarred more.
Then there was the time I found the stylus on my Shure M91ED bent sideways...

I don't like children personally, no offense to those of you have have small animals. Its funny when the nieces/nephews come over and they get near the gear....they know the mean Uncle is on the prowl. I have a form of child protection system also, :)
My comments are meant in jest, please don't get offended by me not having a thing for children. As long as they are not mine, they are....ok.
My 2 yr old can get over the fencing no problem, but with the fence there it puts up a boundry that he knows he shouldnt pass, also gives me time to catch him! My wife uses the system as often as I do & my son also watches his kids vhs & dvd's. I dont want to make it harder to get at & use. If the wife cant use it or becomes a pain to use I can just see her saying why do you need to upgrade that? The old one still works!. Now if I want to do a upgrade she dosnt say much as long as she can still use it! Ive watched lots Bob the Builder, Barney, & Wiggles recently. Went to the Wiggles Show 2 weeks ago, all my son wants to watch now is The Wiggles! He has a tv & vcr in his room but wants to watch it on the big system ( more room for him to dance)! Oh my quack quack quack quack cockadodle. I hear this so often its stuck in my head!

lol.... thank God mine is grown. When she was small it was Sesame Street which had something for adults, too.
Well at least your's is not into SpongeBob (yet). I was trapped on a Charter bus with almost two hours of this turd of a cartoon last year. Thought my head was going to explode...
