The new Polk amps are nice and small and would work well. The PA series of amps were on the Polk Direct eBay site for pretty cheap. Amy of the major names like MTX, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate and the likes are fine.

PA400.1, 600.1 and 1200.1 are def 1 ohms stable.

EDIT: would also be nice to know what your "system" actually is.

In my other thread i already told you Vital, I have a complete Polk audio Dxi system. 4x6's in the front, 6x9's in the back. 12" subs in the trunk. A ****ty sony explode 2 channel amp pushing out 400 watts rms. and recently it stopped working bridged @ 1 channel because its not 2 ohm stable. With DVC subs, i need a monobloc amp that can handle 1 ohm. I have a fairly up to date deck, a JVC something, but its got the 7 band EQ with only an aux port.

A buddy of mine offered to sell me a mono bloc MA Audio amp that puts out 1800 watts rms, but my subs cant really handle all of that. Idk if tuning it down would do the job.

I'm just gunna get that kenwood amps that puts out 900 watts rms @ 1 ohm. seems like a perfect proportion. Of course i'll let my subwoofers break in a little before i start over powering them. They are rated for 360 RMS each, my subs, i figured they can handle probly 500.

Then to finish my project, after i get the kenwood amp, im gunna get the 4 channel polk audio amp putting out 40w rms each channel. It's gunna be a great system :)

Out of Polk's amps looks like PA600.1 and PA200.4 is exqactly what you need. Or get PA1100.5 and call it a day lol. 1100.5 will acutaly give you more "headroom".

If not Polk - there's a LOT of decent amps in that power range so you woun't have a problem finding one as long as you know what your budget is.

What is the 1200w rms @ 1 ohm dynamic power??

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but dynamic power is the same as "MAX WATTAGE" on speakers - pretty much bs number.
RMS is what you are suppose to look for.

I'll stick with that kenwood amp putting out 900 rms x 1. My polks can handle 360 rms each, 720 total. after they break in, they may even handle double of what they are rated for. my kicker comps took 300 rms each, when ratedfor 150 each.
