Speaker inpendance question

My elite receiver suggests only speakers from 6ohms to 16ohms. I was eying the POLK LSi series which is at 4 ohms. I can't use these on the Pioneer? The elite has only 2 settings 6-8 ohms or 8-16 ohms.
