Anyone know how to calibrate the 2803 using a DVD. I have the on screen display set to Video 1 on my TV. The DVD player is set to the component input which is Video 4. So I can't see the DVD screen while adjusting speaker levels using the OSD. Also, how do you adjust the speaker levels with out using the internal noise generator? I can't find a menu to adjust them without using the internal generator. This is driving me nuts! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If the 2803 is anything like the 3803, the center button of the remote allows you to toggle through and adjust the channel levels for all 8 speakers.
The AVR display will show the channel level for each speaker so you can use the TV screen for the DVD.
If the calibration DVD is a DD or DTS disc (most are) using the remote will alter the master channel level settings in the set-up menu. You have to make sure the set-up menu is unlocked before you start.
If your AVR has Personal Memory Plus, then you can also have customized channel level settings for various inputs like Stereo, Direct, Pure Direct, Neo-6, 7 channel "stereo", etc. Adjusting these with the remote will NOT alter the master set-up menu settings since these are not DD or DTS sources.
Hope this helps!
