I've decided to not upgrade my cables, as I don't want to venture into it just incase it is better. Just for that fact, I don't want better right now as I would have to upgrade everything......

Anyways

1) SVS PB2 ISD
2) Replace RT35i Tweeter
3) Surround Shelves
4) (1) 12 Foot A/V Cable, (1) 12 foot Patch Cable
5) XBox
6) Controllers and Games

Then I will start my XBox hobby. I am not worried about a center channel right now...I don't watch enough movies to give a flying....

How does it sound to you guys?

I should have this completed by August 2004 - That is IF I work that summer, which I hope to. I will be running 2 Jobs that summer...

Would HD wire hold off for Surround wire???

Looks good Sid. As long as your wires are of sufficient gauge with no oxydation, you should be fine. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm not planning on getting better wires yet. So far my Monster 12ga is doing a fine job. But like everything else in this hobby, things could change overnight:).

Well I have like 300 feet of HD, that is why I asked....lol! It works fine for me, but I noticed a difference in the mains, but I just can't see the benefit for the surrounds, sounds like a waste of wire to me......

Sid, whenever you're ready wire. ;) Why an Xbox and not a PS2?

Wire runs to your mains can be a relatively cheap upgrade as opposed to a component. I have a pair of 8 foot runs at $4CDN/foot of Kimber 4vs. I run some Wallmart special wire for surrounds, it was the cheapest I could find.

Personally, my wallet can't justify the cost of higher grade wire to my surrounds.

I don't like the PS2.

I would state why, but a war is not what I want to start....lol

I meant nothing by it. I was just curious. :)
