I'm not sure if that picture is right. If you look just north and little east of Lake Huron, the brightest spot is the Sudbury region which is where I live and we didn't have power until the Friday morning.

Photo has 11:15 PM on August 14, 2003 stamped on it....remember the scale on this thing huge...one DPI is probably like 5 miles.

Makes sense. The blackout part looks darker than the rest of the black in the picture.

I knew it was fake... made effin Dallas look the the center of the universe and I know that ain't right... :)

well I think the pic is real, just not the one of the blackout. I think the pic is an actual photo from a government satelite...
