is anyone from the area? and do you have this? I want to know if anyone has this problem as well.
When i watch the HDTV channels 805,807,849,870 there is a significant volume drop off on those channels. I need to crank up the volume when on them and if i need to flip to a non hdtv channel it gets really annoying having to adjust the volume every time.
Maybe it's a problem with the cable box?? or possibly something to due with the broadcast??

I already checked all the connections.
I had a cable guy come out but, he was useless i knew more about it than he did. he didn't even have a manual, I had to print one off the motorola website...
The manual was no help either, it only gave directions for Video adjutsment.

This may have something to do with the dynamic range of a Dolby Digital source (which your HDTV signal probably carries). I notice that when I play a DVD, I have to crank the volume to get the same level as a CD or FM tuner. I know this does not offer you a solution, but it may help explain it. Have you tried www.hometheaterforum.com ??

That's interesting. Anyone else have any experience with this?
