Polk RM6600, 6700, or 7200?

I need to make a choice. Can someone please help me decide? I have a Pioneer VSX-D908S receiver with an old Pioneer HTP speaker package. The surrounds are 55 watts and the sub is not powered and can't even be heard or felt.

I definitely need to upgrade my speakers but I have a limited budget. That is why I am considering one of the Polk RM speaker sets. Here are my options:

Polk RM6600 with PSW450 sub: $700 online at Crutchfield
Polk RM6700 with PSW404 sub: $750 at local Circuit City
Polk RM7200 with PSW550 sub: $875 plus $60 shipping off ebay

I am a little afraid to do the ebay option since I can't return it.

If I go Crutchfield or Circuit City I may return it if needed.

While I was at Circuit City I looked at the PSW550 sub and noticed that it didn't have a regular sub output. It was connected to a Polk receiver by way of computer port. Is this a special version of the PSW550 sub that only connects to a Polk receiver or are all of the PSW550's like this?

Whatever choice I make I would like to purchase speaker stands for the 4 speakers. Any recommendations?

I actually had the chance to sit and review both these systems today, and you might be surprised at our result.

First and foremost, I dragged my wife out to The Brick because she just loved those cute swivelling Bose mini-cubes. Thank God when we cranked up some tunes she wanted to puncture her own eardrums. Shrill and disturbing (no, not the wife). That done, on we went.

I started with the 7200, and it was fantastic. Had all the sound and range I had read that everyone was raving about. A tad larger than the 6700's and a different finish (high gloss). It pumped.

Then I saw the 6700's were also setup and wandered over. Much more compact, but boy did they also push it out. By the time our demo was done I think we had 4-5 other couples hanging around...I even asked for a commission. No gain in performance for the pricetag difference that I saw in the demo - others might disagree but this is just my opinion.

So, it basically boiled down to aesthetics at a lower price - we like the size and finish compared to the 7200's. We also upgraded to the PSW404 at no extra cost....so it was a done deal, because I was concerned about the 303 performance with action movies in a mid-large size room.
