All in all, it is a very information-ladden issue, especially for those members in the market for HDTV...

Last week, I was drug to Barnes N Noble. Having lost my interest for reading fiction long ago, I trodded on over to the magazine section and looked at the various Audio titles. There was the revered stereophile..... but it just didnt interest me. None of them did. All the magazines tended to mimic one another, with the same damn add's no less. Stereophile contained pictures and slight captions of speakers I could never afford..

Then I found Stereophile. The August Issue. Hmm Diversity, both video and audio (but mainly audio). Good so far. Same old adds, yep - to be expected. But then as I read through the little mag, I was pleased to find that many of the articles focused on gear of real world prices. Gear that we could look at, and actually have hope that one day we could either try it out, or better yet, take it home.

Needless to say, I got the mag.... and subscribed online. Will mark as my first subscription to any magazine. Looking foward to it..
