I see "The Fifth Element" thrown around quite often. I have not purchased any myself.

I second Fifth Element. Mask of Zorro and Bram Stoker's Dracula were also quite good. I don't have it, but have heard Air Force One is excellent.

If you haven't looked at lasersedge.com yet, check it out. If you don't see the superbit section, enter it in the search window and you'll go to the superbit listings. There are quite a few.

I prefer to use a dts sampler disc to show off my system. The superbit of fith element is great. The cab chase is a highlight and a great test for your display.

This may be a stupid question, but what is a superbit dvd? do you need a special dvd play to play one? thanks.

Superbit DVD's are all about quality video and DTS audio soundtracks. No extras, commentaries, or deletedscenes. All of the space on the DVD is used to get better audio & video. Go to WWW.SuperbitDVD.COM for more info.

Thank you for your post. this looks like a very good idea! i bought a hitachi 51 inch widescreen HD TV not too long ago and i have been looking for new ways to get better quality. i mean the picture is still very good on my dvds, but i have always wanted more. and some dvds look like i am watching tv! it is odd... especialy since i have a progressive scan dvd play with componet video cables. i just wish they had more titles out. :( maybe i will go on ebay and check this out! thanks again...
