BlueJeans Cable (Canare), Signal Cable, Audioquest FLX. Those are my personal recommendations.

I think the best advice is buy used cables, try them yourself with your system, and if you don't like them with your system sell them on to someone else to try. About all you'd be out is shipping costs if you don't like them or notice a difference.

Well let us know how you like 'em. I've been happy with Signal Ultras and Kimber 8TC (used), but haven't heard much about Nordost.

Looking forward to seeing what you think of them initially and once you've had them in your system for a while. After a couple weeks use, you might want to put your current cables back and see if you can tell a difference.

Unless you have access to a wide amount of cables it's very difficult to really decide what works in your system and what doesn't fit. I have spend years and I have countless ways of getting anything I want into my system to try.
As suggested , get them used and give them a test drive and VS them with what you are currently using. Then from there you can try other stuff and pick your favorite. Over and over you will learn how each wire sounds in your system and you will find what really works for you.
I honestly found Audioquest FLX series 14-2 and 14-4 to work with most speakers and amps . It's very clear and makes all systems I have used it on sound their best including mine. For the money nothing even remotely comes close. Nothing does and I have tried so many different flavors. If you spend more with Audioquest , you get more. I really would like another pair of CV-8s. They where amazing.

Good luck man , report back I say go for it.

I have Nordost Red Dawn speaker cables in my system. I upgraded from Audioquest Type 4 and the Nordosts made the Audioquests sound slow and a little dark. Why don't you try the Cable Co (http://www.thecableco.com/)? They have a rather larger library of cables to try for what may or may not a reasonable about depending on your disposable income.

Well that sounds like hell on my laptop. I would buy something else. Seriously? Why do poeple make audio clips of how well something sounds? It sounds as good as your system sounds! It's kind of like when Sharp came out with all of those commercials to "show" how great their picture looked with the yellow. Well.... looked pretty much like my Pannny did before the commercial.

Good luck trying to explain that to the gullible masses ;) Instead sell them this sweet lepard reppeling rock I sell. It's expensive, but I have never spotted (yes I did) single one since I have owned them.... Works three times as well if you buy two!!!

No hard feelings bro - didn't actually check/realize that it was your video. But yeah, it's kind of hard to make a video of how something sounds. Even with some $10k studio recording equipment - if I'm listening to it on some GPX bookshelf system, I'm not going to notice any difference between your video and the Midi file I downloaded back in 1986.

Your speakers probably sound awesome - but unless someone has reference to what they sound like (which I do not) - there is nothing to compare it to besides the noise that is right in front of the listener.

BTW - checked out a couple of your other vids. Nice MR2. I've got an '07 G35 that's been known to sneak up on a few cars here and there. lol Makes my '04 TL look like a Geo Metro.

On my headphone setup the left speaker sounded a little more refined but it's kinda hard to notice a difference from your in home setup, recorded on camera, to my headphones.
I would certainly say you need a sub though. Bass sounded thin on both vids.

i have two subs, iam run the lsi15 in stereo mode when listening to music, subs are off , actually the bass sounds good in person, still have to modify that though, waiting on my axon true caps, i modded the left speakers with sonic caps.

I see, sounds underwhelming on camera but it's hard to get the full sound this way of course.
You might want to look into replacing the stock 8" driver with the db 8" replacement. I've done it and it does wonders for the lsi bass performance. Digs deeper, louder and cleaner vs the stock unit.

I really would like another pair of CV-8s. They where amazing.

I am running a set of AudioQuest Type 8's for my front 3. They sound pretty good. All I have to compair them to is regular 12 gauge speaker wire. I just figured to get a good set of cables and be happy instead of playing mucical cables.

I belive they are the same thing as CV-8's minus the 72V DBS.
