Times up! I was hoping for a better response, oh well!
The reason for the thread was to extend an offer for a FREE DEMO cd to all respondents as part of a little experiment.
That will teach you chowderheads to sit on the sidelines and not get involved!;)
I did extend the offer to the "Usual Suspects" and all but 1 accepted the offer, thats cool though. No Harm, No Foul.
A very simple proposition was made to Phuz, Polkatese, Pjdami, Fireshoes, & ATCVenom. Listen to the CD on their Lsi15's without the sub and give an honest reveiw of the speakers performance on the low end of the frequencies. Not very scientific, but at least everyone is listening to the exact same CD and evaluating the performace based on the same piece of music. Venom was a little slow out of the gate so he's still waiting for his copy to arrive.
They even get to keep the CD! What a bargin!!
You will have to parden my late participation, I just now saw this thread. Got your E-mail Frank. Thanks again! As stated, it *may* be up to a month or longer till I can sit down with the cd and get some play time.
I look foward to putting them through their paces.

Mostly music, but there are a few tracks that are, well just sounds. Track 1 is a Triangle being struck, #2 is a Bass drum being hit a few times. I'm pretty sure that one of the cuts is from Robbie Robertson. Kind of an eclectic mix of demo material. JRausch gave me a copy when he mde the trip down to my place from Denver and I've used my copy a lot to showoff the Lsi's.
Troy,
I don't know......I think you've got enough toys already.;) I know the 9's go deep, but not deep enough for this material. I would hate to be resonsible for another upgrade!:D

Well, I COULD also run this through the Amazings and the DQ-10's just to see where they all stand in comparison. Could be fun.
OK, Sean, whatcha getting so I can clear some space in the closet?

so, out of curiosity, I tried Frank's demo cd on my LSi9 setup (no sub either), and oh yeah, it smiles on me...Track 12,13 shines on this puppy...
