I was pretty disapointed with this. It was just a blind purchase. It had it's moments, but to me it never got that funny. I figured Jack wouldn't take a role that bad. :(
What did you guys think? Hopefully I was just missing something you guys weren't.

I agree with you 100%. The wife and I saw this in the theaters and neither one of us laughed all that much. Seeing this once is more than enough.
Good story, was expecting more...uh...funny...

I thought the story was ok. They should have replaced Adam Sandler with say Ben Afflec to get a better picture. My 2 cents.

It was ok. I feel the same way with higher expectation...perhaps an unfair pre-judgement to Happy Gilmore type movies is why. I kept on wanting Sandler to EXPLODE with anger, but he never did.
Is it just me or did Juliani sound like he was Hispanic when he yelled in Yankee stadium?

hahaah, he did sound hispanic. I'll have to listen to that again.
The think what irked me about this movie is that it wasn't even CLOSE to his old movies. Like it wasn't even stupid funny. It was just STUPID!
And I agree...I was expecting him to get super pissed, and it never happened. The whole movie was geared to make you mad. Thats how it was written, and thats how it was shot. Well it did make me mad, but it never really gave you the feeling of sweet victory. I guess because the ending was so cheesy.

I think he should have had an "Angry Dragon" on Andrews head. That was the "friends" name right?
My wife said that the best part was the Husky Cat clothing, and that the interaction between Jack and Adam was genuine...I'll agree with that. :)

the whole thing was he wasnt in need of anger managment to begin with, so he never woulda got real angry!! his girlfriend set the whole thing up to help him cope with people and learn to say "NO"... instead of be pushed around, they really taughted(sp) the wrong idea with the title..
