Anyone know anything about MP3 players that you use like a Walkman? Do you store MP3s from your computer onto it? How does this work? What should I buy? (This might be an Xmas gift for a friend, if I can figure it out. Please help!)

I recommend the RioVolt CD/mp3 player, or the Sony one. There is also the Terratec (www.terratec.net) or even the TDK one that uses the 80mm CD-Rs.
I like the CD based ones because they are dual purpose and you can have a "trance" CD, a "jazz" CD, etc...
