any one with onkyo tx-sr800

My brand new Onk just totaly shut down on me. No output to dvd or cd player. Checked for shorts. I unhooked everything but main speakers and cd player. I have also checked the multichannel set up. Any advice will help. PLEASE HELP

Try resetting the receiver per the manual's instructions and see if that "clears the receiver" and restores it to its default settings.
