Head Unit will be pioneer FH-P8000BT
Front doors MM6501
Here Are my questions.
1. should i put the tweeters in the upper door area or dash? i would have to cut holes in the doors but im willing to do it.
2. Would a 10'' mm sub go well with the mm6501's? (sealed box)
3. Do i need rear speakers?
4. If i run only the MM6501's in the front and 1 10 '' MM sub which amp(s) should i run?
thanks for your time.

I would put Polk drivers in place of the factory ones and not cut holes in anything.
The next time I install a system in a car or truck it will be (2) 8's in custom boxes instead of (1) 10. 8's are easier to conceal and take up less cargo room. You could easily make a pair of 8's outrun a 10 anyday...JMHO

cool. i had read about getting reflection if i put the tweets in the dash.
i was thinking about 2 8's as well. just not sure how to amp it all.

I'm not sure what you have for already installed speakers (as far as how many channels you have to account for) but I would have (2) 200 rms 8ohm mono's, one to each 8, in an isobaric config and a 80 or so watts per channel 8ohm to every other driver in the system. If you get good stuff, that will be plenty. If you want badass bass later you definitely have the mid range covered by splitting the 8's left and right and adding a sub. Ultimately its the starts to a very solid separates system with the Coaxial mid/tweet only requiring one amp channel.
My preferences might be different as I am not that big on thumping bass. I like it when it kicks you in the chest. If you are after the same this setup will definitely get your attention and you WONT have to cut holes.
