Hey Polkies,

The wife is going away and I'm going to have new gear in my system. So come by if you can. Bring some CDs.

I'm thinking Saturday February 4th 2012. I'll have drink and food. If you want to bring food or drink we'll eat it!

Let me know who's interested.

Thanks and hope to see ya's

Sal

If I am in New Jersey I'll be at your home for some tunes and drinks.

What can I bring besides a six pack of Stout for Mike and a 30 pack of Budweiser for me?

Ok. Don't want to drive down?

Two issues with that:

1. No Passport
2. You're simply just too far away. Would take me 3 days to get there and 3 days to drive home.

Would love to hear the bridged Carver's though and the SDA's since I've never heard a pair.

I hope it's still here :(, I just bought another player. So I will be selling the Raysonic. I really Love the Raysonic, the sound is levels above the Denon 3910 (which I'll be selling as well)

Here's the new player: http://app.audiogon.com/listings/455042?show_listing=true

Wow guys you gotta get here and listen to these Musical Fidelity components, the KW SACD & Tri-Vista 300 Integrated Amp. The Sound, Power and SDA effect that they put out is Amazing!!!

I have the original Polk AI-1 cable and Raife's AI-1 so we can A/B them.

I wanted to have two rigs set up but I don't think anything will be left from my old gear :(

It's all cool, the first $1100 I get I'm buying a new pair of Shotgun S1 BiWires :)

Let me know if you're gonna make it because I need to order some food.

Thanks,

Sal

Damn!

Looks like i have to work this weekend :(

I can't say no to this client. Their one monthly check pays half my bills.

I still want to have people over. I'll try to figure out another date.

Sorry guys.

I'd really like to hear that SACD player. Man that's pricey (MSRP, that is!). Maybe if things move closer to Spring Break, I might make the trip down. I need to pick up the M-10 grills from Big Dawg (thanks again) and pay George (also a thanks) for the vintage Onkyo receiver among other things Jersey related.

Hope this weekend is profitable for you, Sal. Sounds like you could use the cash!

Talked to my wife and she said I should do it in the spring so that we can use the BBQ grill as well. Maybe I'll plan for that.

That's actually better for me, as I was starting to have conflicts. Right now, I'm pretty sure that the spring is open...

I tried contacting Polk Audio in Baltimore, but so far no information about refresh/update service for the SDA SRS 1.2 speakers. Mine seem to be working well but I wanted to find a firm or individual that can give them a "tune up" and take care of any problems found.

If anyone can recommend a shop or individual in the Virginia/Maryland/Pennsylvania/New Jersey area that has experience with servicing the SDA SRS 1.2 speakers, please let me know. Thanks for any references you can provide.
