Bought it yesterday at BB for $19.99, opened up todays paper and Fry's has it for $15.99. Gotta love that price match program.
I cannot wait to watch this beauty of a film, one of the greats. The transfer is heard to be as good as todays summer blockbusters.
Sounds like another excellent job by FOX.
Peace Out~:D

My daughter stole my Willow dvd when she moved to Florida (along with Tank Girl, Pirates of the Carribian, Kill Bill 1/2 ... ).
Today I finally got around to buying another copy of Willow, and watched it (again). Besides being a really good movie. Willow also has a lot of good thunder, all around the room :D

I loved Willow as a kid. I just found at that the actor who played Willow, Warwik Davis, also has been the Lepracaun in all the Lepracaun movies, Wicket from Return of he Jedi, doubled as Yodi in the new Episodes, had around 4 parts in Episode 1, and also is a repeat character in the Harry Potter movies.
I am glad to see that he had been doing well. He was 18 when he was in Willow.

Warwick Davis is also Marvin in Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy.
He was also in Ray, Labyrinth and the Ewok films from the early 80's.
Check out his page on IMDB.com: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001116/

i enjoyed Willow too. don't know why it was bashed by critics upon it's debut in 88.
maybe it suffered from too many movie cliches...
