I agree, a gentleman 100%.
Great prices, and you would be insane not to at least TRY and sell some of your bothersome children to buy these speakers.

madmax,
I was wondering why are you selling these and are you only going to sell them as a set, or will you sell seperate?

I would like to sell as a set just because I don't want to waste a lot of time with them but if they don't sell I'll probably break them up into pairs.
I am selling them because I already have the SDA's which I personally like better for two channel given my room and electronics. HT has not turned out to be the priority I thought it would be. Another reason is that I would like to try some magnepans for the fun of it and this would make a nice down payment.
PS: Thanks for the above praises!

I can also vouch for both Chuck and the LSi's....
Great speakers, great price and Chuck is a GREAT guy.
This is a win-win deal.
Chuck, what kind of Maggies are you looking for?

I would sell the LSi9's for $575 or the LSi15's for $975. (total including shipping and insurance)
madmax
Edit: Changed above from LS15 (mistake) to LSi15.
Also, and this is dumb, my separate price is lower than my original system price because I wanted $330 for the center.
The System price I really want is $1880. I don't know how I calculated $1940.
So to summarize: (all including shipping and insurance)
Complete system: $1880
or
LSi15's $975
LSi9's $575
LSiC $330

It's listed in the site somewhere. Crutchfield might be a good place to look for what it actually costs new. I would look it up for you but I'm late for work right now. This evening I'll check it out. Gotta run...

Well Max, I'd offer you $1400 and my girlfriend. But with that exchange you'd eventually only end up a humble RT owner like myself. Then again, adding her to your budget, you probably couldn't save up for anything. Like me:D
A shame to hear that the LSi's arent flipping the bill for you MadMax. The SDA's are a tough act to follow. Best of luck.

I was relying on the forum this time because my email is at work and I'm somewhere else. I don't want to OK a sale here with an offer waiting somewhere else. (possibly one that came in sooner). Also, I haven't figured out why it is disabled on the site yet.

The RTi blowout shite may well be affecting real ear purchases Max. It is a shame, those LSi's are priced to blowout also.
Just FYI you onlookers, these are the definitive current Polk Audio speakers. They set the standard by which the R and RTi's are measured.

Well Damn,
I thought those were pretty reasonable prices. So much for re-sale value. I could get more than that out of a single pair of 15 year old SDA's that I spent less on. Oh well, live and learn. I'll re-post where they are for sale once I take pics and all that crap. I figured this would be easy but I guess not. Are people actually spending the real cash for them in the stores? I can't imagine how I would feel if I had just spent over 3 grand on them and wanted to sell for over a third off with free shipping with no real hits. That would really bite.

The LSi's are two tone, black shiny finish with either black ash wood side panels or cherry wood side panels. The center doesn't have any side panels and is just shiny black all over. His speakers are all black, black shiny finish on black ash wood panels.

Here is a thought. If anyone is semi local I would be happy to travel up to an hour to meet you. I would mark off $35 from the 9's, $70 off the 15's or $17 off the lsiC. Or if you bought them all I would mark off $150. That would be $1730 for the whole system! Can you beat that?

Hey,
Polkster I think the center is gone know on to the rti70's. I brought these from a authorized dealer have original boxes, manuals, rubber feet, and everything thing else. Will furnish reciept for any action that needs to be taken with them. I am asking 550.00 if I have to ship them 500.00 for a local pick-up or up to 2 hour drive from central NJ for a drop off. These are flawless with less than 20 hours on them, black is the coller and I will post pictures tomorrow sometime in the afternoon. I have not seen these on sale anywhere I went to alot of places looking for these and believe me I am not making any money on these, probably taking a lost but will sacrafice for the LSi series. Let me know. E-mail me at carlos.rivera@spcorp.com and we can talk. Just in case any references of my dealing can be had from some of the other members I have dealt with. What I offer is what it is nothing more nothing less.

CRj,
It's fine to put it here but you might want to make a seperate thread just so people see it. If someone wants that particular speaker they may not be looking here at an LSi thread, especially a long one like this. Just mentioning it because I sometimes don't look past the original thread names.

I've just started to build me a 'nice' living room...
I've just bought the Sony KV-34XBR910 with the Denon DVD-2900
and nice Salamander AV rack....
I was planning in a near future ...not that 'near' ( at least 6...maybe 12 months) to add the Denon AVR-4802R and a full 7.1 set of LSi....
...and man, i have too say that this price is really appealing...this is a hell of a deal!
since I don't even have the receiver yet... these speaker would just sit in the living room ...LOL
I need to convince the wify though...

No warranty on the 9's. They were purchased 6 months ago from one of the grey market ebay dealers. Perfect, just no warranty. I have only played them a few times.
The 15's and center were purchased new from an authorized dealer by a fellow polk member. He sold them to me shortly afterwards when he got the DIY bug and decided to build his own. I think polk warrantees any speaker that was purchased from an authorized dealer whether you or someone else purchased it. (they can tell because the SN is removed if not authorized).
I made both purchases about 6 months ago, obviously the 15's and center are a little older, by how much, I truely am not sure. Not too long.
Paypal requires a history before they let you receive that sum of money. When you first sign up you are limited to $500. At least that is what it was about a year ago when I checked into it. Yea, I guess I should have started back then but I didn't.
I think most on this forum know me. Feel free to PM whoever for references. I have done quite a bit of dealing with Hoosier and Russman. Troy D, dorokusai and F1Nut can probably give recommendations.
