A classic. Very true to the book. Good special effects and a new story idea which I'm sure will be imitated soon. Definately will buy this on video when it's available. Don't knock it if you haven't seen it or read it.

the books are great i was curious so my wife bought me the first book, i couldnt get enuff, i am not big on reading and this series has kept my attention. i will watch the movie when it comes out on dvd.
cant say that i go to the movie theater too much..mine sounds better !!!!!
