I bought a psw202 in June. Was working fine, but now when i play movies it makes a popping sound. Its fine with music, just when i play movies. I have it hooked up to a Pioneer VSX-DS912 7.1 amp in the front position. Any suggestions? Have i busted it?

Thanks

You are bottoming the driver. Repeat performances will eventually kill it. Drop the Master Volume or the Sub Level until it stops bottoming.

Simply want more than what ya got fellow. 202 IS a fairly small sub. But if money is no object than there are MUCH buffer subs to be had. Doc will find ya one. What is the rest of your setup?

I listed the amp in the orginal post... i think ist failry good....have two polk towers...R40( if that means anything) centre csi something..(rather large) and a set of 4 suround small speakes...all polk. And the now the crappy psw202,( which i can used as a back sw i guess)? Money is an object, so be nice!
