What to do, what to do. Just completed my speaker upgrade to pair of lsi9's, lsic and pair of lsifx. They are being powered by a Pioneer SC-37 and a Adcom 7506. The l,r and c are attached to the adcom while the fx's are connected to the pioneer. Was thinking of getting another adcom 555 for the l and r, and moving the center and surrounds to the 7605.

My question is would there be a considerable sound upgrade by doing this or is the adcom 7506 enough? I know these are 200 watt 4ohm speakers but the current adcom is 175 watts into 4ohm.

Any help would be appreciated.

The more power you feed the LSIs the better they will sound. So if you get the 555 which I believe is 200wpc @ 8ohms, it would be even better for the LSIs.

Yea. The 9's will love the 555. There's one in the Flea Market right now for a good deal from a reputable seller...
