Hi i was wondering if my pioneer vsx-92txh enough to power my pair of lsi15 or do i need an amp?

Nope, get yourself a decent amp so you don't do damage to either the speakers or receiver.

I had the very same model you have. It's got preouts, use them. Get a high current amp and you are in business. Welcome to club Polk!
It's a nice avr by the way. I'd only use the pioneer to push the surrounds but not the main speakers.

Thanks guys for the responses. Im using 2 outs per speaker. One for tops and one for sub.
What amp would you guys recommend under $350?

The guy I got my 15's from ran it off an avr. He was an apartment dweller so never pushed them hard enough to damage them. I took my B & K over to his house to audition them. When we tested them out we still didn't push them real loud, but he was surprised by the difference. Him and his wife were looking at each other like they wanted to keep them!
I would say get an amp and sit back and enjoy.
