Team,
Since I went over to Polk speakers, I have put up my Infinity Kappa video for sale at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3055564970&ssPageName=ADME:B:LC:US:1
Just an FYI. This is my first attempt to sell on EBay. Asides from the Kappa video, I have the following Infinity's. These were my HT speakers until I bought Polks over the past 2 months.
1. Center - Kappa video (put up on EBay).
2. Mains - Reference Four floor standing speakers.
3. Surrounds - Infinitesimal Fours, with wall mounts.
4. Sub - RS12 SUB
5. Receiver - Yamaha, RX-V870
All black. My present set-up in the main room is as follows:
1. Center - Polks CSi40
2. Mains - RTi100's
3. Surrounds - FXi30's
4. Sub (temporary) - Infinity RS12 SUB (sounds wonderful though)
5. Receiver - Elite 47TX,
As I said, just an FYI. Any interest in the Infinity's, e-mail me. I will see how the Kappa turns out prior to posting the others. All are in mint condition, and honestly sound exceptional.

Need help with a Yamaha RX-V870. The unit does have power +-48V, 24v, etc. The tuner works (cranked up all the way, you can barely hear the output). The display does not illuminate and there appears to be a jumper in place of a relay in the power supply. Any ideas what components to test? THis is a monster of a unit and I would like to get it working. I am fixing it for a charitable organization so they can raise some $$$ by selling it off.

Thanx

Bob S.

So instead of politely asking a mod to move the thread to 'troubleshooting' or whatever place is appropriate, you just 'reported'? Woohoo!
As you might know, all CP threads can be searched via Google, that's why he found this Yamaha link (my guess). Nevertheless, it does not look like a spam message by any means - the person is asking a valid question.
