Hey guys this is my first time posting. I've come here because I can't seem to get a great answer anywhere else. Let me start with this: I just ordered 2 Monitor 70s, a CS2 front channel, a Denon 2112CI, and a Klipsch Reference RW-12d subwoofer (all on Newegg for awesome prices). However, I have yet to order my 4 surrounds. My issue is that the room this setup will be going in is approximately 25' x 21' with a mere 8 foot ceiling (basement setup). With such a low ceiling, wall mounting or suspending the RTi6s I wanted will leave them hanging too low for comfort (kids, drunk friends, etc.). Further, I would like to avoid speaker stands for the same reason. So, can you guys recommend some decent, more compact surrounds that will work well with what I've already purchased? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

monitor 30s or monitor 40s mounted horizonally sounds like a good match.

In-walls would be perfect for you if your basement is finished.
