Comparing FX reries against FXi Series

Hello, anyone out there that knows if the difference in these 2 will make a huge difference>> Looking at the FX 300i as a rear surround and also have a line on a pair of FXI30's for 50 dollars more. Which one would be a better match with the RT20001 towers?? Thanks and hope to hear back from someone soon.

Better match for what ? Surrounds are the least to worry about because voices rarely come out of them in movie playback. Playing 5.1 music is another story and you'd want to better voice match the surrounds.

I use the fx300's with my Legacy's and they work very well. Truth be told, either one will work fine with the 2000's, comes down to a matter of austetics and 50 bucks in your case.

I am using the Onkyo TX NR414 5.1 surround receiver, and think with your advice I'll do the FX 300i's for the 50.00 less. That and they look like brand new. 190.00 shipped to my door?? Seems high, but I'll go for it. Thanks

I did order the FX 300i set and they appear to look like new, so I hope I love the sound!! Probably will as I am not a real picky guy. Just like my stuff to match and make sense!
