when I first really got into audio I was into car audio, but whenI had the money to get a nice set up, i blew it on a t.v. Now I need to decide which to get, a nice car set up, or ht? I will be able to drive in about a year. which would be worth my time and money(i'm 15).

JDogg,

It comes down to this:

Where will you be spending a large part of your time? And listening?

If you plan on getting out and about all the time, with your friends, the ladies, and the works... then taking the car audio route may be the choice for you.

If you like to sit in a comfy chair and watch your movies, or have some kickin tunes playing... then home audio may be for you.

Depends on what type of sound you really enjoy, and where you will use it most. Go with what you would utilize the most, and put the other down as a secondary priority.

quick decision, I went with home theater, what reciver would you recommend, I was looking at the pioneer Elite VSX-43TX or the Onkyo TX-SR801, I am going to get either Klipsch or Polk speakers. The RF-35(Klipsch) or the RTi8's. Any suggestions welcome.

Why audio (2 channel) for the car and HT for the house? Why not 2 channel for the house?

Anyway, I agree with ATC. Where are you going to get the most use out of it?
