I am planning on purchasing this rack. It is a Bello AT-484
19 3/4 by 13 3/8 shelves.

Dimensions:

22' (w) x 50' (h) x 24' (d) (Base) 22' (w) x 50' (h) x 27' (d) (With Glass) 19' (w) x 13-¾' (d) shelves All shelves adjustable to 7' minimum 50 lb* Capacity per component shelf

There are pictures in the flea market threat title audio rack fs. I was just wondering if my compenents would fit. Those of you that have this rack or know of it please respond. Carlos says becuase of the open back design there would be a little overhang. I trust him but he advised that I ask around so that there is no confusion. Here are my dimentsions

rec
17 5/16" W x 6 8/16" H x 16" D

dvd
17 5/16" W x 5 1/8" H x 18 3/16" D
Thanks

Just my .02, but that's a lot of overhang. If it were me, I'd find something else.

13-3/4" -18-3/16" = - 4-9/16"

Yeah, that is almost 5 inches, I didn't even do that math. It seems as though, he said something about sliding shelves. He seems to think that due to the sliding shelves, the overhang could be compensated. Not sure how though. I was just wondering if anyone had this stand. He said he had a rotel on it and it was fine, but my dvd player is kind of large. So you guys really think I should just go on my way?

Measure the distance between the front and back feet (pads) on the receiver and DVD. If they fit completely on the shelf then I wouldn't worry about the rest of the component that may have some overhang. My guess is that the receiver will fit. Plus the base shelf may be 24" deep to put the larger DVD player on. Here is a diagram for those that are not familiar with the rack.

That picture helped a lot. I think it is a good buy and I will get it. I guess if it doesn't work out, someone else may have a chance to own it. I just hate to pass it up you know? I know for a fact that the feet are not on the edges of my gear. Again everyone always gives such great advice. Thank you for not helping me to waste (too ) much money in the past months. =)
