SDA SL-3000 Tweet Change

Quick question for those who have ventured to upgrade from the SL-2000's, to the 3000's....

What type of improvements did you notice? And was it a "plop and drop"? Will a mod to the cross over be needed?

I got the SDA's hooked up again and Im diggin them, their achilles heal is the voices... they just dont do voices well at all.... I am hoping a new tweet will improve that.

You will need to mod the crossover to go to the 3000. Rather than doing that (esp on an SDA network), just buy the replacement RD0194-1 (black silk dome) and you will experience a noticeable improvement.

I've done it on both CRS+ and my SRS 2's...and wouldn't even consider going back to the 2000.
