I've had some bad luck with suppsed "fun" games, both full price and the reduced price "platinum hits".

Can I get some recommendations for fun games that don't require you memorize the manual (i.e. Jedi Outcast, Taz)

One thing I would like is to get da wife interested in playing a 2-player game once the kids go to bed. On that note, how is the Sims on Xbox.

And what about those classic arcade games?

Check out http://xbox.ign.com for reviews of every game available on Xbox. Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball is a fun 2 player game. Just make sure you tell your wife what the game is about before playing it with her:D. I'm sure she'll like the idea of winning money to buy new bathing suits, sunglasses, nail polish, etc for your chacracter.

Stars Knights of The Old Republic is good. Very long, sure to give you many weeks of fun. WAIT..... did that sound perverted?:D Great game none the less!

Check out Splinter Cell and ALL the Tom Clancey games. Ghost Recon kicked major ass!:D

Halo in my mind is the best game EVER! can't wait to get Halo 2. State of Emergency is a funny game.Timeslpitters 2 is great for two player action, and totally schooling everyone you play. If you get mechwarrior be sure you have online capability it so cool.
