I have the Alpine 5 channel MRD-F752 class T Amp. Birth Cert. says it is rated 105x4x358x1 RMS at 12.0 volts. I'm using the front channels to run my MM455 and MM465 at 2ohm stereo (maybe getting 150x2 at 2 ohm 12V). I'm running the rear to my 6x9" Polk dX9. The sub out to my MM120. (the sub output is 358x1) Do you think I'm under powering my MM120?

If you are installing the MM120 in a sealed enclosure, then look for a amplifier that has a power rating of 500 to 800 Watts. Set the low pass crossover to 80 Hertz and allow 40 hours of playing music at a reasonable level to let the woofer's suspension "break in". This Alpine amp will drive the MM120 if you plan on building the bandpass enclosure because of the "gain" incorporated into this design. We have the box plans available on our website ( www.polkaudio.com ). If you have any questions regarding the construction of the bandpass enclosure, give us a call at 800-377-7655 between the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern time Monday through Friday and we will be glad to help.

Thanks,
Kim
