carver tfm 25

i have found a fair priced carvertfm 25 to power my sda1's and was wondering if the tfm 25 was made before bobs departure from carver , and whether anyone has one that could possibly offer some feedback....."my sda's need mo powa"

I do believe the TFM series amps were made after Bob's departure from Carver. Most of the technology that went into all the Carver amps would still have gone into these.

The best series were the M series amps. Those were from the Bob Carver days.

You should be fine though. A bunch of the forum members have Carver amps ranging from the M series to the TFM series. All of us rave about them.

Any update, did you get the amp? did it help the SDA's?

actually i am on my way to pick up a yamaha m-80 and a nikko amp as well today......found a good local deal. got both for 300....i will update later today , maybe i will hear my sda's really sing for the first time.
